A Far Hills Kitchen Renovation

Here are the ‘before’ photos of a home that I worked on in Far Hills. The kitchen was dated and the working area was small for the family that had bought the house. There was a large brick faux fireplace that must have been in the original plan of the house circa early 1970’s. We had to remove the brick structure so that we could create a butler’s pantry for the family china. This was a big job but completely necessary to make the kitchen function properly. Here are the final results.

The dated fireplace posed a problem. I wanted to up-date it without a lot of expense. I decided that parging the brick would be the best solution. There was a strange alcove underneath a stairway that I filled with cabinetry. The Powder Room needed up-dating also. Here are the results. Enjoy!
